When do you need to apply for asylum in Poland?

Do I need to immediately apply for asylum as soon as I crossed the border of Ukraine and entered the territory of Poland?

You have 14 days from the date of entry to decide what to do next. At the moment, it is not recommended to apply for international protection (refugee status) in Poland due to the fact that it is a long administrative procedure, as well as the lack of employment opportunities on this basis in the first 6 months of the case.

Remember that you can enter the procedure for obtaining international protection at any time, and not only within 14 days from the date of entry.
